Jounieh (Arabic: جونيه, or Juniya, جونية) is a coastal city in Keserwan District, about 16 km (10 mi) north of Beirut, Lebanon. Since 2017, it has been the capital of Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate .

Sahel Alma (Arabic: ساحل علما) is a village located in the Keserwan District of the Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate in Lebanon, [1] it constitutes along with three other villages (Sarba, Haret Sakher and Ghadir) the area known as Jounieh. Sahel Alma is situated between the coast of Jounieh bay and the mountain of Harissa.
