Can someone who has Black Rhino wheels tell me if their factory lug nuts and locks worked or if the small size (compact) type nuts were required. I looked all over the BR website and couldnt find anything about what type (flat, acorn, or ball) or size nuts they required. I couldnt fnd a pic of...
I have the Black Rhino Arsenal wheels. They are great, absolutely no complaints. Got them for a great deal through @Discount Tire who hooked me up through Discount Tire Direct. One cool thing about the company is they help support the preservation of the black rhino in Africa, hence the name of the company. Great wheels with a cause.

I purchased 5 new Black Rhino Barstow wheels and had Discount Tire order and install. One came in clearly bent (discount tire basically admitted without ‘admitting’ that the person installing the wheel hadn’t noticed). The wheel caused the tire to leak even before leaving the dealer parking lot...
doityerself said: ↑. No they aren't. Well at least the ones I had were larger than my hubs and were supposed to fit my truck. They do fit your truck just because it's not hub centric doesn't mean it doesn't fit your truck. Typical bore for aftermarket wheels is 108mm our hub is 106.5 so that's not that far off.
Looking at a few Black Rhino wheels and the reviews are good in most cases but some indicate rusting ...
I have a mechanic friend who has a Ram with different wheels by Black Rhino, and he torques them to manufacturer’s specs which is 130 ft/lbs. He said 76ft/lbs. sounds really low. I’m pretty sure these Armory wheels are an aluminum alloy, and I don’t want to over-torque and damage the lug wells or something, so in the end I went with 80 ft ...
What type of lugs do Black Rhino wheels take (conical, ball, or flat)? Looks conical or ball to me, but would appreciate confirmation. Just installed a set of Primm's and the bulging conical lugs that came stock with the JLUR wouldn't fit back on (due to the bulge; I think a thinner conical would fit the opening itself if not the contact point).
Looking at Black Rhino wheels, Arsenal, Abrams, etc. Something in that utility-style they offer. There's a LOT of bolts on those wheels. Are they real or just decorations cast into the wheel? Do any of these models have a removable center ring or anything that can be taken off by removing some of those dozens of bolts, and painted easily?
