Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is the soundtrack to the 2023 film of the same name directed and co-produced by Luv Ranjan, through Luv Films and T-Series Films, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Luv Ranjan (born 29 September 1982) is an Indian film & music director, writer, lyricist and producer who works in Hindi cinema and owns Luv Films.His notable films include the romantic comedies Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), De De Pyaar De (2019) and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar (2023).
Following a series of poorly-received films, she had commercial successes in the comedies Chhichhore (2019) and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023), the action thriller Saaho (2019), as well as the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe films Stree (2018) and Stree 2 (2024), the latter of which ranks as her highest-grossing release.
