Villa Rica / ˌ v ɪ l ə ˈ r ɪ k ə / (Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese translation: Rich Village) is a city in Carroll and Douglas counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. Villa Rica is placed in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Additionally, there are unincorporated areas in Paulding County with Villa Rica postal addresses.
The city demolished the old Villa Rica Electric & Light and E.L. Esterwood mill (later known as Golden City Hosiery) for greenspace, amphitheater and future new city hall.
