Steve Gordon (October 10, 1938 – November 27, 1982) was an American screenwriter and film director who wrote and directed the 1981 comedy Arthur, starring Dudley Moore. Gordon died in New York City on November 27, 1982, from a heart attack at the age of 44.
Arthur Woodburn (25 October 1890 – 1 June 1978) was a Scottish Labour Party politician who was Secretary of State for Scotland from 1947 to 1950. Born in Edinburgh, he was educated at Heriot-Watt College. [1]

The Eight Schools Association (ESA) is a group of large private college-preparatory boarding schools in the Northeastern United States. It was formally established in 2006, but has existed in some form since the 1973–74 school year.
Formerly known as the all-boys St. Procopius College and Academy, the school began to offer a remedial course, or a course designed to bring underprepared students to competency, to only two students on March 2, 1887. Enrollment grew to 30 high school students by 1947. [7] The academy began to operate independently from the college in 1957. [8]
Neighboring communities are Annandale to the east, Wakefield to the south, Mantua to the west, Merrifield to the north, and West Falls Church at the northeast corner of Woodburn. The city of Fairfax is 4 miles (6 km) to the west by either US 50 or SR 236, and downtown Washington, D.C. is 12 miles (19 km) to the east.
