The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, formerly and commonly known as the Hotel Macdonald (colloquially known as The Mac), is a large historic luxury hotel in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Located along 100 Street NW, south of Jasper Avenue , the hotel is situated in the eastern end of downtown Edmonton , and overlooks the North Saskatchewan River .
The hotel is located on the 1st through 22nd floors, and [11] has 346 rooms, 2,300 square metres (25,000 sq ft) of conference hall space and a 930 square metres (10,000 sq ft) ballroom.
