The Columbus State Cougars are the athletic teams that represent Columbus State University, located in Columbus, Georgia, in intercollegiate sports at the Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the Peach Belt Conference since the 1990–91 academic year.
After retiring as a player, Hosket served on three United States Olympic Basketball Committees. He also founded Buckeye Basketball Camp (not officially affiliated with Ohio State University) in his home state of Ohio. [2] In 1998, Hosket was named as the President of the OHSAA Foundation and served as the foundation's first executive director.
From 1986-89, Burson played for Ohio State University in the Big Ten Conference.He averaged 22.1 points a game for Gary Williams' Buckeyes in the 1988-89 season. [3] During a late season contest against Iowa in his senior year, Burson's college career came to an end when he collided with Ed Horton. [4]
