Walter Percy Chrysler (April 2, 1875 – August 18, 1940) was an American industrial pioneer in the automotive industry, American automotive industry executive and the founder and namesake of American Chrysler Corporation.
Interstate 375 (I-375) is a north–south auxiliary Interstate Highway in Detroit, Michigan, United States. It is the southernmost leg of the Walter P. Chrysler Freeway and a spur of I-75 into Downtown Detroit, ending at the unsigned Business Spur I-375 (BS I-375), better known as Jefferson Avenue. The freeway opened on June 12, 1964.
The original KY 375 ran from KY 159 northeast of Falmouth southeast to KY 22 in Pendleton County. This route was removed from the state highway system by October 29, 1981, but was added back to the state highway system on May 4, 1987, as KY 3173.
Chrysler was founded by Walter Chrysler on June 6, 1925, [1] when the Maxwell Motor Company (est. 1904) was re-organized into the Chrysler Corporation. [2]Walter Chrysler had originally arrived at the ailing Maxwell-Chalmers company in the early 1920s, having been hired to take over and overhaul the company's troubled operations just after a similar rescue job at the Willys car company.

The Walter P. Chrysler Museum was a car museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan, featuring historically significant vehicles designed and manufactured by Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, AMC, Nash, Hudson, and Rambler. It was in operation from October 1999 through December 2012, with a brief re-opening in 2016 before closing permanently in December 2016.
