[ 4 ] [ 5 ] It is home of The Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum and the Greyhound Hall of Fame.
Dickinson County is a county in Central Kansas.Its county seat and most populous city is Abilene. [3] As of the 2020 census, the county population was 18,402. [1] The county was named in honor of Daniel Dickinson, a U.S. Senator from New York that was a Kansas statehood advocate.
It is a union of the Abilene Daily Chronicle (founded 1933) and the Abilene Daily Reflector (founded 1888). [4]In October 2012, Junction City, Kansas-based Montgomery Communications purchased the Reflector-Chronicle from Cleveland Newspapers of Birmingham, Alabama.
