The seminary occupies and owns the building and lands that were originally the First Presbyterian Church. It was built in 1889 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a designated Michigan State Historic Site (1979), and a contributing property to the Brush Park Historic District. The Bible Presbyterian Church is an American Protestant denomination in the Reformed tradition.It was founded by members of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church over differences on eschatology and abstinence, after having left the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America over the rise of modernism.
It has also been known as Bonhomme Presbyterian Church and as Old Bonhomme Church. It was built in 1841 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is a rectangular, stone church about 30.25 by 40.4 feet (9.22 m × 12.31 m) in plan.
The Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS) is a Reformed Presbyterian seminary in Point Breeze, Pennsylvania. RPTS is a ministry of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America and was founded in 1810, making it the fifth oldest seminary in the United States .
Its original name was the Federation of Polish Catholic Laymen. The insurance aspect was added in 1913, and the name changed to the Federation of Poles in America. Became Federal Life Insurance of America in 1924. [124] Local groups are called "Lodges"; in 1979 there were 28 lodges in 7 states. The national convention meets quadrennially.
