Al-Okhdood, founded in 1976, secured promotion to the Saudi Pro League on 15 May 2023 for the first time in history, following a 2–2 draw between 5th-placed Al-Faisaly and Jeddah with three matchdays left, in which they became the 37th club in top tier of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ittihad Club (Arabic: نادي الاتحاد), [3] commonly known as Al-Ittihad or simply Ittihad, is a Saudi professional football club based in Jeddah. It was founded in 1927. [ 1 ] The club has spent its entire history in the top flight of football in Saudi Arabia , currently known as the Saudi Pro League . [ 4 ]
The stadium was built and opened in 1984 and was mainly used by Al-Ittihad as a training ground for friendly matches and youth team games.
