Sebring was founded by the Sebring family from East Liverpool, Ohio, who were successful pottery owners that sought to establish their own pottery town. [5] Sebring was incorporated 1899. [ 5 ] Much of the original family built the establishing houses and factories in the town, which at their high employed approximately 3,300 workers. [ 5 ]

The Central Station (also known as the Sebring Fire Station) is a historic site in Sebring, Florida, United States. It is located at 301 North Mango Street. The architect was William J Heim and it was built in 1927. [2] It is an example of Art Deco style. [2] On August 14, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. [3]
