Danganronpa (Japanese: ダンガンロンパ) is a Japanese video game franchise created by Kazutaka Kodaka and developed and owned by Spike Chunsoft (formerly Spike).The series primarily surrounds various groups of apparent high-school students who are forced into murdering each other by a robotic teddy bear named Monokuma.
In the first two games, Monokuma was used as a proxy for Junko Enoshima in her trials; in Another Episode, he is a series of different types of robots created by Monaca Towa for an army; in Danganronpa 3, recordings of him are set up by Kazuo Tengan to force Ryota Mitarai into brainwashing the entire world for the sake of hope.

Makoto then accuses Monokuma of murdering Mukuro, pointing out the true cause of death were wounds matching the ones Junko received. After Kyoko proves her innocence by revealing the burns on her hands, Makoto deduces from Monokuma's obscured evidence the identity of Monokuma's controller and the academy's mastermind to be the real Junko Enoshima.
