Baden Wesley Langton (1927 or 1928 — February 14, 2018) was one of several early co-anchors of CTV National News and later White House correspondent for ABC News. Langton was born in Brantford, Ontario. He left home at the age of 17 to join the United States Army, where he became part of the Special Forces Unit, entertaining the troops. [1]

Simcoe is an unincorporated community and former town in Southwestern Ontario, Canada near Lake Erie.It is the county seat and largest community of Norfolk County. [1] Simcoe is at the junction of Highway 3, at Highway 24, due south of Brantford, and accessible to Hamilton by nearby Highway 6.
As the Iliffe's marriage was childless, on Langton Iliffe's death, in 1996, the title passed to his nephew, Robert Peter Richard Iliffe, 3rd Baron Iliffe (b. 1944). During World War II, Iliffe served as an RAF intelligence officer. [4] After the cessation of hostilities, he returned to the family business.
Langton held the prebend of Strensall in the diocese of York by 20 November 1214. He was the brother of Stephen Langton, who became Archbishop of Canterbury in 1207. [2] A third brother Walter was a Knight, serving in the Albigensian Crusades and being captured and ransomed, and when he died childless in 1234, Simon Langton was left with the lands and his substantial debts.
