Gene E. Snowden (April 7, 1928 – June 10, 2019) was an American politician from the state of Indiana. A Republican, he served in the Indiana House of Representatives and Indiana State Senate in a legislative career spanning from 1964 until his resignation in 1983. [6] [7] He was president pro tempore of the Senate from 1979 to 1980. [8]

In 1910, Noll was named pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Huntington, Indiana. Noll bought a printing press and in 1912 founded the weekly newspaper Our Sunday Visitor (OSV) It became widely distributed at many parishes as a supplement or in coordination with the local paper. For a time, it became a popular Catholic newsweekly nationwide.
