McLean is in southwestern McLean County. Interstate 55 passes through the east side of the village, with access from Exit 145 (U.S. Route 136).I-55 leads northeast 15 miles (24 km) to Bloomington, the county seat, and southwest 16 miles (26 km) to Lincoln.
