The Northside Gymnasium. The North Side Gymnasium is a 7,373 seat multi-purpose arena opened in 1954 located in Elkhart, Indiana, United States on the campus of North Side Middle School. The Northside Eagles football team have had winning seasons for 22 consecutive years; they are 146-15 from 1998 to the present. Northside had 17 consecutive seasons with 10 or more wins from 1998-2014. [8] From 1998 to 2005, the school had five teams go 10-0 in the regular season but falter in the playoffs.
1919 saw the building of a new structure on what is now the campus of J.P. Elder Middle School. Currently called the "Elder Annex" on Park and Lincoln, it served as North Side High School until the current building on McKinley Avenue was opened in the fall of 1938. In 1922, the school's alma mater was written by Otsie Betts.

The current superintendent of Northside Independent School District is Dr. Brian Woods. Prior to his appointment in 2012, he was a social studies teacher, administrator, the assistant superintendent for secondary administration, and the named deputy superintendent for administration for the school district.
