Increpare Games Ltd is a British video game developer based in London, founded and operated by Stephen Lavelle. Lavelle uses the pseudonym "Increpare", the Latin word for "rebuke". Lavelle developed the prototype, which was in part inspired by Spacechem, at a game jam event. [1] While finishing the game up, however the game, in Lavelle's own words, "ended up getting a lot bigger and changing a hell of a lot." [1] Lavelle has also cited Cogs as an inspiration. [1]

The Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps was founded in 1990 by George Lavelle, Jr. with George Lavelle Sr., Trent Smith, Clarence Jackson, and Anthony Bestreski joining as members of the initial board of directors. The intent was to provide the opportunity for young people to march in a highly competitive drum corps at an economical cost.
