Ayesha Bakhsh was born on 4 July 1981 in Pakpattan District, Punjab, Pakistan. [3] [1] She is the daughter of Mian Mohammad Bakhsh and Rubina Bakhsh.[1] [3] She has three siblings: two brothers, Zeeshan Bakhsh (a journalist associated with Dawn News Lahore) and Osman Bakhsh, and a sister, Saima Bakhsh. Shirazi began her career with PTV in 2000, moved to Geo News in 2002 and would go on to acquire a diverse variety of experience as a reporter and anchor with numerous channels.
