Share. EdgyROYGBIV. • 8 mo. ago. Cars 3 is in my opinion the best Cars film. It’s actually surprisingly good for the franchise. The worldbuilding issues aren’t as major, the story is a lot more interesting and meaningful, and it’s a lot less obnoxious overall. It’s no masterpiece but it’s still a good film. 3.
Having said that, Cars 3 simply doesn't match the quality of Coco, Inside Out, Finding Dory, and so on up the list. Pixar only has 19 films, which seems like a lot until you consider their many "classics" like Toy Story, Nemo, Up, Monsters, Incredibles, etc. etc., so it's not surprising that Cars 3 ends up near the bottom.
To preface this, the original Cars was the first film I ever saw in a cinema. I'm not kidding, it was literally the first ever movie I saw in the cinemas back in 2006 and I love it with all my heart. In my opinion, the ending of Cars 3 was perfect. It took Lightning to his logical end point considering where he started, and it's very satisfying ...
Cars 3 actually feels like a very natural and logical extension of Lightning McQueen's character development from the first movie. It's an actual continuation of his character growth, rather than a repeat with some new faces (Incredibles II), or a completely unrelated story that happens to have the same characters (Monsters U, Finding Dory).
Cars 3 is boring and it sucks, especially the ending. It would have been better to see Storm and McQueen face off with technology vs technique. And Storm was a wasted character, my kids think he’s the coolest anyway.
Speed. I am speed. One winner, forty-two losers. I eat losers for breakfast. I am Lightning." Kachow! The next chapter of the Cars franchise, Cars 3 has finally raced into theaters! You can use this thread to discuss the film. Possible easter eggs, what you liked/disliked about it, etc...
FanTheory. During Cars 3 Lightning McQueen suffers his "worst season on record" when rookie Jackson Storm and other next-generation cars zoom onto the racetrack halfway through the 2016 Piston Cup Season. In a montage seen at beginning of the film, we see McQueen lose many races. At the end of one race, he finishes in 8th place - a stark ...
Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage! Director: Brian Fee. Writers: Kiel Murray, Bob Peterson, Mike Rich. Cast: Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen, Cristela Alonzo as Cruz Ramirez. Armie Hammer as Jackson Storm.
I was watching a YouTube video by dazzreviews and it was titled: Yes.. Pixar is making more cars stuff! I was very confused and he went on to say cars 4 is confirmed in the making. I went and googled it and couldn’t find anything on a Cars 4.
