MaMou is a French restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Established in November 2022, the business was included in The New York Times 's 2023 list of the 50 best restaurants in the United States.
It won the 2014 James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant and their chef Ryan Prewitt won Best Chef in the South. [1] Prewitt is also a partner, along with fellow chefs Donald Link [2] and Stephen Stryjewski. [3]
