The Mexico women's national football team (Spanish: Selección Nacional de México Femenil) represents Mexico in international women's football. The team is governed by the Mexican Football Federation and competes within CONCACAF , the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football.
It is the official home stadium of the Mexico national team, as well as the Mexican club team Club América. It has an official capacity of 87,523, [ 54 ] [ 55 ] making it the largest football-specific stadium in the Americas and the third largest football stadium in the world.
Mexico entered the 2022 World Championship looking to build on their bronze medal from five years prior.
