Roedean School (/ ˈ r oʊ d iː n /) is a private boarding and day school founded in 1885 in Roedean Village on the outskirts of Brighton, East Sussex, England, and governed by Royal Charter. It is for girls aged 11 to 18.
Weeks was educated at Great Ballard School, [4] Roedean School, and Pembroke College, Oxford, where she read English (graduating with upper-second class honours). [5] She also spent time studying art on the John Hall Pre-university Course in Venice, Italy. As a child she was a member of the Chichester Festival Theatre.
I am not convinced that Roedean is the most expensive school in the country. The citation given here is the Evening Argus, a very low-standard local newspaper in Brighton. The link is to an article about a sewage plant proposed on the grounds of Roedean, and simply refers in passing to Roedean as the most expensive school in the country.
