The Seven Sacred Pools are a group of small pools near Sedona, Arizona on the Soldier Pass Trail in the Coconino National Forest. They are easily accessible from the trail but are only available to be seen during certain times of the year, as the stream that feeds them is seasonal.

Oak Creek, a tributary of the Verde River, flows along the bottom of the canyon, and is one of the few perennial streams in the high desert region of northern Arizona. Oak Creek is largely responsible for carving the modern Oak Creek Canyon, although movement along the Oak Creek Fault, a 30-mile (48 km) long north–south normal fault line, is thought to have played a role as well.
The Palatki Heritage Site is open to visitors seven days a week from 9:30am to 3:00pm. The site is accessible by guided tours only, with the last tour at 2:00 PM. Reserve a tour at Recreation.gov. There are two trails in the park, one to view the Sinagua cliff dwellings, and a second to view the pictographs and petroglyphs. [4]
