Blake and the crew of the Liberator have a new mission - and their target is on Straxis, a planet also known as Battleground 9. Because Straxis is a training ground for thousands of Federation troops, and the Liberator has journeyed directly into their sights.
Twelve additional writers provided material for the series. After three successful series, Blake's 7 was unexpectedly commissioned for a further series. Vere Lorrimer was appointed as producer, and oversaw major changes in its format. Following the dramatic finale of the fourth series, Blake's 7 was not re-commissioned and the programme ended.
The series are order by letters because that's how the BBC indicated them. Series A, with episodes A1, A2, etc. Series B with B1, B2, and so on. Just because you'd like a numbered list doesn't mean it's supposed to be that way. Cyberia23 19:19, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
