Sloppy Joe's Bar is a historic American bar in Key West, Florida located at the corner of Greene and Duval Street since 1937. [1] A frequent haunt of famous writer Ernest Hemingway , it is now home to the annual Hemingway Days celebration and its Hemingway Look-Alike Contest.
Looe Island nature reserve (Cornish: Enys Lann-Managh, meaning Island of the Monk's Enclosure), also known as St George's Island, and historically St Michael's Island is a small island nature reserve [1] a mile from the mainland town of Looe off Cornwall, England. The island and its foreshore belongs to the charity, Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
Looe Key is a coral reef located within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. It lies to the south of Big Pine Key. This reef is within a Sanctuary Preservation Area (SPA). Part of Looe Key is designated as "Research Only," an area which protects some of the patch reefs landward of the main reef.

Fleming Key is an island off the northwest corner of the island of Key West, Florida in the lower Florida Keys. It is roughly 2 miles (3.2 km) long by 0.25 miles (400 m) wide. It is connected to the island of Key West by the Fleming Key Bridge (Mustin Road), having 18 feet (5.5 m) of clearance over Fleming Key Cut, a small channel. [1]
Thompson Island, at the southwest tip of Key West, was selected as the site for the fort in 1822 and plans drawn up by Simon Bernard and Joseph G. Totten were approved in 1836. Two supporting artillery batteries , Martello Towers , provided additional coverage, one of which exists today as the Martello Gallery-Key West Art and Historical Museum .
