KYAL-FM (97.1 FM, "The Sports Animal") is a radio station licensed to serve Muskogee, Oklahoma. The station is owned by KMMY, Inc. It airs a sports format. [3] Its studios are located at the CityPlex Towers in South Tulsa and its transmitter is located near Stigler, Oklahoma.
In 1947, the United States Air Force separated from the Army, and the proud tradition of the Security Forces began. At first, the Security Forces were still called the Military Police, and still wore the old Army arm band, or brassard. Soon the Military Police were renamed the Air Police, but they continued to wear the arm band.

The Sound of the Golden Hurricane is the school marching band for the University of Tulsa, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The band is currently under the direction of Mr. Matthew Schepers; overseen by the Director of Instrumental Ensembles, Mr. Richard Wagner. The band's colorguard is directed by Ms. Adrienne Gaddy.
