An all-female band is a band which has consisted entirely of female musicians for at least three-quarters of its active career. This article only lists all-female bands who perform original material that is either authored by themselves or authored by another musician for that band's use. Therefore vocal groups (girl groups) are not included.

Exist Trace (イグジストトレイス, Iguzisuto Toreisu, stylized as exist†trace) is a Japanese visual kei rock band, consisting entirely of female members. The members originate from Tokyo, and initially formed in June 2003. The founding members are Jyou, Naoto, and Mally, who met Miko and Omi after placing an advertisement for guitarists.
Prior to the album's release, the band contributed to the "Women's Power First" compilation, released in 1998 by the label Flying Cat. [3] By this time, the band was a well-known presence in the Tokyo club scene, and at one point opened for Keiko Terada. [4] Aphasia eventually release their second full-length album "Wings of Fire" in 2001.
Midori Tatematsu (Japanese: 立松 緑, born May 28, 1988) is a Japanese heavy metal musician and fitness competitor. She is best known as a guitarist of the all-female band Lovebites since their founding in 2016. She was previously in the all-female band Gekijo Metalicche from 2013 to 2016.
