The vocals were covered by Chrisye (who also played the bass ) and Berlian Hutauruk , with Fariz Rustam Munaf and Keenan Nasution on the drums , Debby Nasution on the keyboard , and Yockie Suryoprajogo on both the keyboard and drums.
Badai Pasti Berlalu was originally released in installments in Kompas between 5 June and 2 September 1972. It was later rereleased as a novel by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 1974. It sold well, selling 24,000 copies in a short period of time, a "fantastic amount" at the time, [ 2 ] despite costing more than ten times the cost of a magazine.
