Foster the People is an American indie pop band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009. Its members include founder and frontman Mark Foster and keyboardist Isom Innis. Foster the People began promoting new music following extensive touring in support of their second studio album, Supermodel (2014), in late 2016.
