It is an International Style house that was built in 1951 to a design by Philip C. Johnson and Landis Gores. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Designed in the International style of architecture by Eliot Noyes (1910–1977) and built in 1955 by Borglum & Meek of Wilton, Connecticut. It was the second New Canaan house that Noyes designed for his own family to live in.
