Holland is a town in Hampden County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 2,603 at the 2020 census. [1] It is part of the Springfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area around the town center comprises the census-designated place of Holland.
The CDP includes the Holland town center along Sturbridge Road, as well as residential communities on the shores of Hamilton Reservoir, a lake in the southeastern part of the town. The reservoir outlet is at the northern end of the lake, flowing into the Quinebaug River. Sturbridge is 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Holland via Sturbridge Road.
