Constancio Bernardo (December 22, 1913 – August 8, 2003) was a Filipino painter and professor. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] He is known for making the earliest modern geometric abstract paintings in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia.
He also created albums of illustrations of native costumes. This he did primarily to sell to collectors. Such skills made Domingo one of the most famous and sought-after artists of his time in the Philippines.
