The House of Yes is a 1997 American dark comedy film adapted from the play of the same name by Wendy MacLeod.The film was written and directed by Mark Waters (in his directorial debut), produced by Robert Berger, and stars Parker Posey, Josh Hamilton, Tori Spelling, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Geneviève Bujold.
House of Yes grew out of NYC's Do-It-Yourself and Burning Man scenes. The nightclub is known for wild parties with strange themes, circus performers, burlesque dancers, and more. [ 14 ] It is also known for being LGBTQ friendly, having a strict pro-consent policy enforced by "Consenticorns", [ 15 ] [ 16 ] and being a sex positive nightclub.

The House of Yes has been performed at Soho Repertory Theatre, at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin and at The Gate Theater in London, where it was published in Plays International. MacLeod's play, Find and Sign, premiered at Pioneer Theatre Company in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2012.
