The Fort Peck Theatre was built as a temporary structure in 1934 in Fort Peck, Montana, to serve as a movie theatre.It is also known as the Fort Peck Summer Theatre.The theater was designed in a pseudo-Swiss-chalet style as an amenity for the 50,000 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers workers and their families at the Fort Peck Dam project.

Glasgow is a city in and the county seat of Valley County, Montana, United States.The population was 3,202 at the 2020 census. [4]Despite being just the 23rd most populous city in Montana, Glasgow is the most populous city for over 110 mi (177 km), thus making it an important economic hub for a large region in Eastern Montana. The Margaret Theater existed on the site since near the founding of the town. It was re-modeled in 1927 at a cost of $60,000 and renamed the Sundial Theater only to burn down in 1929. The first movie to play in the Washoe was a Western, The Texas Rangers starring Fred MacMurray as a Texas Ranger. The Washoe still operates as a movie theater today.
The Yucca Theatre in Hysham, Montana, was built in 1931 by David Manning. The Mission style movie theater initially had a stage for theatrical productions which was removed in 1936. The theater closed in 1957 and became a part of the adjoining Manning home. The theater has since been restored and is used as a community theater. [2]
