Malmesbury School in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England, was founded in 1971 with the merger of Malmesbury Grammar School at Filands with Bremhilam Secondary Modern at Corn Gastons. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Until 2002, the school operated on two sites, with the lower school (years 7 and 8) at Filands and the upper school (years 9 to 13) at Corn Gastons. [ 4 ]

St Giles', Lea. The church of St Giles, Lea, has a 15th-century west tower; the rest was rebuilt and enlarged during restoration in 1878. [14] [15] All Saints', Garsdon. There was a church at Garsdon in 1265. [3] The tower of All Saints' church is from the 15th and 16th centuries; the rest was rebuilt and enlarged in 1856. [16]
Prior to West Suffolk's creation, its predecessors Forest Heath District Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council had been working together for a number of years, having shared a joint chief executive since 2011. The two districts were formally merged into a new district of West Suffolk with effect from 1 April 2019. [2] [3]
