Hanau (German pronunciation: [ˈhaːnaʊ̯]) is a city in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis, in Hesse, Germany.It is 25 km east of Frankfurt am Main and part of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region.
