Richmond Annex or The Annex is a neighborhood in southeastern Richmond, California. It is mostly residential and located between San Pablo Avenue / El Cerrito to the east, San Francisco Bay to the west, Central Avenue/ Cerrito Creek / Albany Hill / Albany / Alameda County to the south, and Potrero Avenue/ Pullman to the north.
This boulevard then thins out into a street as it climbs the hills of El Cerrito until reaching its end at Arlington Boulevard, a major north–south trunk road between the Richmond and Berkeley hills through El Cerrito. In the year 1990 a major improvement program was designed by the city also involving Knox Freeway.
The neighborhood is bordered by Point Pinole Regional Shoreline and the West Contra Costa County Detention Center to the north, Atlas road, SPRR tracks, and the Richmond Country Club to the east, the Richmond Parkway to the southeast, grassland flats to the south, and Breuner Marsh and San Pablo Bay to the west.
