"Into That Good Night" is the two-part season finale of the ninth season of the American sitcom Roseanne. The episode is the 23rd and the 24th episode of the season, the 221st and the 222nd episode overall and originally served as the show's series finale until Roseanne was revived in March 2018.
The episode itself is a satire of the Walt Disney Company, who, after having recently acquired the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), required the network's shows (including Roseanne) to film and air Disney-themed episodes, including the preceding episodes "We're Going to Disney World" and "Disney World War II".
This episode marked the final appearance of longtime creator/namesake Roseanne Barr as a series regular. Within a week of the episode's airing, Roseanne was abruptly cancelled following Barr's firing, a tweet from the show's star which was construed as being racist, and was subsequently replaced with a spin-off, titled The Conners.
