The Bishop Mountain Lookout, located in Island Park, Idaho, was created between 1936 and 1938 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, and its cabin is currently available as reserved accommodations through the United States Forest Service.

Monte Vista Lookout Cabin is a structure in Cochise County, Arizona which is on the National Register of Historic Places. [1] The cabin sits at the base of the Lookout, in the southern portion of the Chiricahua Mountains in the Coronado National Forest. [2] In 1956, it was erroneously reported that the cabin had been destroyed during a forest fire.
The Black Mountain Lookout Cabin in Gila National Forest in or near Black Mountain, New Mexico, was built in 1925. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. This cabin, a three-sided Adirondack-style log structure with shake walls and roof, was built in 1936. [2] The cabin continues to be maintained by the Forest Service. The cabin was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. [1]
The Grand View Lookout Tower is a fire lookout in Kaibab National Forest near the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The 80-foot (24 m) tall steel tower was built in the 1930s. Its observation cabin measures 7 feet (2.1 m) square. A small cabin is included in the designated area. [2] The Arizona Trail passes the tower.
