Lindsborg is a city in McPherson County, Kansas, United States. [1] As of the 2020 census, its population was 3,776. [3] Lindsborg is known for its large Swedish, other Nordic and Scandinavian heritages. It is home to the biennial Svensk Hyllningsfest.
In 1854, the Kansas Territory was organized, then in 1861 Kansas became the 34th U.S. state. In 1855, Butler County was established within the Kansas Territory, which included the land for modern day Cassoday. Cassoday was named for John B. Cassoday, chief justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. [6]
