The Welsh Corgi (/ ˈ k ɔːr ɡ i / [5] or Corgi, plural Corgis, or occasionally the etymologically consistent Corgwn; / ˈ k ɔːr ɡ uː n /) is a small type of herding dog that originated in Wales.
