The fusible core process finds application, for example, for injection molded passenger car engine intake manifolds. By modifying the equipment, small molded parts like valves or pump housings can be manufactured, as the manufacture of the fusible cores and the injected parts can be carried out on an injection molding machine.
Cores are used for complex injection moldings in the fusible core injection molding process. First, a core is made from a fusible alloy or low melting temperature polymer. It is then placed inside the injection mold's dies and the plastic is shot into the mold. The molding is then removed from the mold with the core still in it.

A thermal switch (sometimes thermal reset or thermal cutout (TCO)) is a device which normally opens at a high temperature (often with a faint "plink" sound) and re-closes when the temperature drops. The thermal switch may be a bimetallic strip , often encased in a tubular glass bulb to protect it from dust or short circuit .
On an IBM mainframe, a power-on reset (POR) is a sequence of actions that the processor performs either due to a POR request from the operator or as part of turning on power. The operator requests a POR for configuration changes that cannot be recognized by a simple System Reset .
This paper is not applicable to IEC fusion, as a quasineutral plasma cannot be contained by an electric field, which is a fundamental part of IEC fusion. However, in an earlier paper, "A general critique of inertial-electrostatic confinement fusion systems" , Rider addresses the common IEC devices directly, including the fusor.
The Corefusion Mark was released on March 12, 2003. The processor core is based on the VIA C3 'Nehemiah', and includes the VIA ProSavage CLE266 Northbridge and the S3 Graphics ProSavage4 graphics processing unit. It supports 133 MHz SDRAM. Specifications (C3 Core) L1-Cache: 64 + 64 kB (Data + Instructions) L2-Cache: 64 kB; MMX, 3DNow!, SSE
Mechanical fusible links are utilized as the triggering device in fire sprinkler systems and mechanical automatic door release mechanisms that close fire doors in warehouses, etc. Fire dampers in ventilation systems have fusible links so that the dampers close automatically in case of fire, limiting the spread of flame or hot gases through a ...
