The Daily Local News is a daily newspaper based in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The newspaper covers Chester County news and provides limited coverage of neighboring Lancaster and Delaware counties. In November 1959, the Chester Times changed its name to the Delaware County Daily Times. On June 15, 1981, the paper transformed from a broadsheet to a tabloid and made the switch from an afternoon paper to a morning edition. The Cheshire Record Office is the county record office and diocesan record office for Cheshire. It houses the Cheshire Archives and Local Studies Service (formerly Cheshire and Chester Archives and Local Studies Service). Since 1986 it has been based in Duke Street, Chester.
