Thevenard Island is located approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) off the coast of Onslow in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. [1] [2] The majority of the island and the waters around it are covered by the Thevenard Island Nature Reserve, which was declared a protected area in 1975 and had a size of 2,172 hectares (5,370 acres).
Onslow Beach is a 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) stretch of undeveloped beach at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Onslow County, North Carolina, US.
