Abbey Dore Court is a country house in Abbey Dore, Herefordshire, England. It was built in the Golden Valley in 1861 for Thomas Freke Lewis. It includes the former public house, the Red Lion Inn which was built in the early 1800s. The property was owned by the Partridge family and then later by the Prothero family of Malpas Court.
In 1838 John Partridge advertised the "Lower Weston" estate for sale. [8] It was divided into two lots with a house on each lot. The Penyard House lot was sold to Dr Congreve Selwyn from Ledbury and the Weston Hall lot appears to have been retained by John Partridge. Dr Selwyn continued to use the house as a rental property.
