The Triumph Sprint 900 is a sport touring motorcycle manufactured by Triumph from 1991 to 1998 at their factory in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Styled by Rod Skiver, the Sprint was powered by an 885 cc (54.0 cu in) liquid-cooled , inline-three four stroke engine.
BSA/Triumph then commissioned Ogle Design for a redesign, leading to an 18-month delay. The new motorcycle had a squarer fuel tank and a less-traditional look, with sloped cylinders and "ray-gun" silencers. The Triumph Legend TT is a British motorcycle that was made by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd from 1998 to 2001. Based on the three cylinder liquid cooled Triumph Thunderbird 900 , the priority for the new Legend TT was affordability, so the designers reduced the initial cost by producing a stripped down hotrod version, with less chrome.
