Love of Siam (Thai: รักแห่งสยาม, RTGS: Rak Haeng Sayam, pronounced [rák hɛ̀ŋ sà.jǎːm]) is a 2007 Thai multi-layered romantic-drama film written and directed by Chookiat Sakveerakul. The film tells a story of love, friendship and family. The film was released in Thailand on November 22, 2007.
In her first film, The Love of Siam (Kak Haeng Siam, รักแห่งสยาม), she appeared as one of the four main actors promoted on the film's poster. [4] She starred as "Donut", girlfriend of "Tong", one of the two leading actors. The film won many Thailand film awards for movie showing in the year 2005. [5]
She did two more films Mor.8 [3] in 2006 and Sick Nurses [4] in 2007. She rose to fame when she played the martyr girl named 'Ying' in the most acclaimed Thai film Love of Siam (Rak Haeng Sayam). The year after she started getting supporting roles for TV Series / Lakorn from 3 major TV Station in Thailand.
In 2007, she starred in the critically acclaimed The Love of Siam, and also acted in a revival of the stage production, Banlangmek: The Musical. In 2013 remake of Khu Kam , Sinjai portrayed Thanphuying La-iat Phibunsongkhram, wife of Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram , former Prime Minister and military dictator.
