The 2022–23 Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) season or ALGS Year 3 was the third season of ALGS play. The series is organized by the game's publisher and developer, Electronic Arts (EA) and Respawn Entertainment, respectively. The season ran from preseason qualifiers in October 2022 through the 2023 ALGS Championship in September 2023.
In December 2019, Electronic Arts (EA) and Respawn Entertainment announced the first Apex Legends Global Series. The series was split up into total of 22 events over four phases, and each phase culminated in Major Events, the series' top-level events; the last Major of season, called the Apex Legends Global Series Championship, would determine the winner of the season.

In the 2023 ALGS Split 2 Playoffs, they selected drop spots alongside other teams on both the Storm Point and World's Edge maps. [12] [13] After a 31st-place finish in the Split 2 Playoffs, Aurora disbanded the roster in August. [5] [14] Later in the month, Aurora would re-enter Apex competition, signing the then free agent Fire Beavers roster.
Sharky would then leave the team, with Rody "Xynew" Geissle filling the roster spot. With Xynew, Zer0 and Genburten would win the 2023 ALGS Split 2 Playoffs. [15] Upon winning their third LAN, Zer0 and Genburten became the only 3-time LAN championships in ALGS history. [16] With the win, Zer0 was also awarded his second Monster MVP. [17] [18]
