Conroe Independent School District (CISD) is a school district in Montgomery County, Texas. The current superintendent has been Dr. Curtis Null since June 2018. [ 3 ] As of April 2024, Conroe ISD was the 9th largest school district in Texas and 60th largest in the United States.
To accommodate the school's population growth, the district allocated 24 portable classroom buildings for the main campus and 4 portables for the 9th grade campus. [10] In 2018, the district estimated the school's capacity to be 3,650. [11] For the 2017–2018 school year, the Oak Ridge High student population had increased to 4,400. [12]

[3] It is operated by the Conroe Independent School District (CISD), and is one of the six main high schools in the district. Opened in the fall of 2005, it enrolls students from grades 9 to 12.
For each class, 65 students are initially accepted, and ten are wait-listed. The size of each class at a given time is between 65 and 77 students. There are approximately 280 [4] students in the Academy, selected from College Park High School, the Woodlands High School and Oak Ridge High School attendance zones.
For the first eighteen years, the school functioned as a ministry of Conroe Bible Church and used the CBC facilities as its campus. The school has always been governed by an independent Board of Trustees, composed of parents of students at Covenant. The student body is made up of families from Montgomery, Walker, San Jacinto, and Liberty counties.
